The journey begins in Lagos (or at your accommodation, depending on the location) and takes you along picturesque villages and beaches in the Algarve.

Your journey to the west coast: And then it gets adventurous! We turn off onto sand and gravel roads with hardly any traffic that lead through unspoilt forests. This is where our UMM gets to show what it was built for. The army vehicle from the 80s guides us safely over the bumpy track and masters driving through water and over dirty roads.

 The empty track in front of us, a big cloud of dust behind us, a beer in our hands and music in our ears. What could be better?

Another highlight follows: Now it’s off to the cliffs! We drive along a spectacular stretch of coastline with a view of the ocean. Incredible expanse… After that, there’s only America. Here there are great waves, rough rocks and unspoilt nature.

Then we turn off towards Sagres and set course for the most south-westerly point of the European mainland. The lighthouse at the Cap de Sao Vicente was built in 1848 and is located on the high cliffs near Sagres. It is a special place, which not only impresses with its view, but is also a popular destination for watching the sunset or buying a few souvenirs.
